Vase Morris The Strawberry Thief (1883)

'The Strawberry Thief' is one of the most famous textile designs by William Morris (1834-1896). Not undeserved: the beautiful details of the thrushes and strawberries is enchanting. The fabric was very expensive due to this detailing and the special manufacturing process, but that did not stand in the way of popularity.
