Pentecost is officially celebrated ten days after Ascension Day. The Pentecost weekend (2027) falls on Sunday May 16th (Whitsunday) and Monday May 17th (Whitmonday). A long weekend means time for relaxation, being together or maybe renewing the interior.

Since Pentecost is in the middle of spring, it usually coincides with outdoor activities. Shopping at a fair, walking through blossoming and green landscapes and sailing or picnicking when it is sunny.
