Table Lamp Wiener Werkstätte

Elegant Jugendstil table lamp with a bronze-plated, geometrical base. The influence of nature can clearly be seen in the mushroom-like shape of the white opal glass lampshade.

The Wiener Werkstätte was a group of artists from Vienna that let themselves be inspired by the Arts-and-Crafts movement and was active between 1897 and 1914. The artists strove to create a new language of shapes, a geometric type of Art Nouveau, that valued traditional production above all.

There a pull-switch that has been attached by means of a chain on the lamp.
