Sculpture Greek Owl

An endearing owl.
A replica of a flask for oil or perfume from the orientalised, late Proto-Corinthian style (650-625 B.C.).

A piece of string was put through the hole in the owl's feet so the flask could be suspended or be worn around the wrist when going to bath houses.

Charming to place or hang somewhere in the bathroom. It is not possible to pour fluids in the item.

Material: Durastone, patinated by hand.
