Tapestries The Four Seasons
Imposing tapestries, woven in colourful, fresh hues. The back is lined with yellow ochre cloth and furnished with a duct for a hanging system of your choice. Material: 97% CO and 3% PL.
The idea is based on the Art Nouveau style, after Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939). This artist was born in the Czech Republic, but became famous in Paris. The Mucha-style characterises itself by elegant lines, light colours and beautifully stylised motifs. These depictions were modelled on "The Four Seasons" from 1896.
Spring; A lady in a white dress with long golden hair, romantically surrounded by blossoms. She plays a harp and birds are listening attentively.
Summer; A lady with big, red flowers in her long, dark hair. She relaxes at the water's edge and enjoys the lovely weather.
Autumn; A lady with long, dark hair. In her left hand she carries a small bowl. She's picking ripe, red grapes.
Winter; A mysterious lady with dark hair in a blue dress with a hood. She whispers something to the bird in her hand. Capricious, snowy growth forms supply the background.
Make a choice of 4 depictions: Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter. A combination of 2 tapestries is also possible.
