Tiffany Table Lamp Banker Parabola

You'd think you were in Wall Street with this banker lamp!

Expressionistic, curvy lines, sharp corners and exuberant, decorative elements: just a few features of the Amsterdam School style. This unique Tiffany table lamp is based on this innovative art movement that manifested itself between approx. 1910 - 1940. The Amsterdam School is also seen as the Dutch variety of the Art Deco style. The parabola shape is a common shape within the Amsterdam School movement and that is why it was taken as the focal point for this design. Its unusual shape turns the lamp into a true eye-catcher with warm colours of nacre, cream and brown (with a touch of deep purple) as a charming combination. Also available as a wall lamp and hanging lamp.

The glass lamp was made using the Tiffany technique. However, the glass was heated and curved in the oven which helped to create its stunning, flowing shape! Also note the extravagant, matching "base" of the lamp and the layered, sharp forms are truly Art Deco!
