In 1886, a group of French Post-Impressionist painters, including Paul Gauguin, settled in the village of Pont-Aven. The artists were captivated by the poetic beauty of Brittany: the unique light over the natural landscapes and meandering rivers, country cottages accessible via secret footbridges, little harbours with Breton sailing ships, colourful fields of flowers and endless fields of artichokes!
With the green Art Deco glass shade “Bretagne”, you’ll always feel like you’re on holiday and surrounded by art! Imagine yourself amidst green meadows.
